Sobi Templates is Open for Business

It's been way too long, but we've finally put the Sobi Template Club together with our first 2 template releases for the month of August 2011. When we started Sobi Templates, we never knew how much work would go into starting a template club for the Sobi2 and SobiPro Directory components, but sitting here at 4:27AM on a Sunday night/Monday morning, it feels pretty damn good to finally be writing this blog post.

We've pretty much tried to keep the membership simple; no limit on how many templates you download or use during your membership, however, we can only support so many sites for $47, so we put the limit for the Basic Membership at 2 domains. What that means in English is, if you install a template on bob.com and bill.com and ted.com, we will only take your support requests for 2 of those domains on the Basic Membership.

No Link Back Required

One thing we made sure of is not to require any type of link back to Sobi Templates, no matter what plan you sign up for. I've never liked having to link back to a site, especially when I purchase a template or extension and they still require a link back, or pay more money. Not here you don't. When you download a Club template, it's yours to do with as you please, except we ask you don't share it or sell it. It's pretty simple.
